Vera received her B.A. in journalism from Indiana University  and her  M.A. in Human Development from St. Mary's University of Minnesota. She was trained in Spiritual Direction at Sacred Ground Center for Spirituality in St.Paul, MN and is a member of the Transformational Coaching Team for church trasnformation through the Twin Cities Presbytery.  She is the author of "When You are Coping with Infertility" published by Augsburg Fortress, 2002 and various other article regarding infertility and adoption.  Vera and her husband live in Minneapolis with their Russian adopted twin girls.
